STUDIO PAINTING
The Painting Studio offers instruction to artists of all levels of experience individually but in a group setting. Students work at their own pace and in their own style and can continue into the afternoon. Weekly critiques and demonstrations will be included. Easels are furnished; students provide their own paints and supplies. Basic materials can be purchased at the Barge Art Store. Classes are offered in weekly units. AFTERNOON STUDIO / INTRO TO PAINTING
The Afternoon Studio is a Painting Studio class
which offers particpants the opportunity to start the
studio at this time of day, or take a second studio class
making a whole day program. This class is also avail-
able July and August (see dates for Intro to Painting)
and is open to artists of all levels.

In July and August only, the Afternon Studio will
also offer an introduction to painting on an as-need
basis and is open to beginners. Based on introductory
painting techniques developed by Victor D'Amico,
classes will address various methods and materials
of painting, principles of color, composition, and the
process of how a painting evolves.
