PASTEL TECHNIQUE
Working from still life and the landscape, explore qualities and techniques of dry pigment hard and soft pastels on assorted working surfaces. Class meets @ The D'Amico House.

WATERCOLOR
Using landscape and still life as inspiration, students explore the special properties of transparent watercolor. Techniques include washes, wet-on-wet, and direct painting. Composition, spatial relationships, the interplay of light and color, and mixing clear colors is also emphasized.

COLLAGE
A 2-D application of pasted papers onto a picture
surface. This class will also include various assemblage
elements, cloth, wood, natural and man-made ob-
